Marc Patterson
Marc Patterson graduated from The University of Iowa with degrees in Marketing and Business Administration and a minor in Communication Studies. Marc works as Search Marketing Director for Blue Traffic in West Des Moines, Iowa. His expertise is in online advertising and search engine optimization. Marc is a certified Google Advertising Professional and MSN/Bing AdExcellence Member. He currently continues his position at Blue Traffic while heading up online marketing strategies for Patterson Interactive.

Public Relations Professional, Katie Patterson
Katie Patterson brings several years of experience managing integrated communications program, media relations efforts, social media campaigns, executive positioning programs and special events. With a degree in journalism, her writing skills and media mindset are an invaluable asset to any organization looking to improve its relationships with media and other stakeholders. Katie has secured coverage in publications such as the BusinessWeek, Financial Times, Atlanta Journal-Constitution, Crain’s Chicago Business, Market Watch and MSNBC. She also has managed work on social media platforms such as Facebook and Twitter, led the development of targeted websites and online communications campaigns, and spearheaded national award entries and speakers bureaus. An Iowa native, Katie attended Drake University in Des Moines, where she earned her bachelor’s degree. Since graduation, she worked at two global public relations firms. Katie currently resides in Chicago and oversees external communications for the U.S. business unit of a global manufacturing company.
